no car

carOne night at dinner, Mycah accidentally passed gas (She's 3). As we all tried to suppress the laughter, Kevin asked her if she had gas. She replied, "Daddy, I don't even have a car!" It's really funny how kids see things only one way.

If we are God's children, do you think it is possible that we also see situations in life only one way? Just as Mycah had it all wrong, what if we have the wrong idea about something He's trying to tell us. I have recently been reminded that time in "the Word" is the only way to stay in tune with what God is really telling us. Life is so much easier when we hear the all the instructions in the correct context.
